In the beginning was
A well-preserved manor house that the new owners wanted to make their own. While preserving its history, they wanted to dust off the premises and turn them towards the future.

Our approach
Create a play of colours and materials to reinvent the space, interact with the light and live more fully in the outdoor landscape.

From concept to implementation

  • Selection of wall colours and floor materials. Each colour has been chosen to reflect the character and cultural references of the client. The colours, refined and nuanced, directly speak to the client.
  • Enhancing the home’s natural luminosity: the colours chosen are soft, natural and suggestive. As if letting in the reflections of the outside landscape.
  • Structuring the space by creating graphic markers with the use of black frames and furniture elements that punctuate the space and emphasise its geometry.
  • Emphasising the simplicity of the lines and adding lightness by creating made-to-measure storage units – cupboards, bookcases, niches – in a contemporary style, to bring coherence to the whole.
