In the beginning was
The ruined tower of a windmill dating from 1785 and the desire to transform it into a living space.
Our approach
Renovate the structure identically with the Compagnons du Devoir to preserve its historical and heritage character. Rely on the existing elements to integrate them into the new cylindrical living space.
From concept to implementation
- Restoration of the roof and lime washed walls.
- Creation of a bathroom on the first floor and a bedroom upstairs.
- Restoration of structural elements such as the grain flue to receive the washbasin for the new bathroom, and the chestnut shingle roof structure.
